The mid-week ladies Christmas lunch was a huge success with delicious food and festive decor and a very special surprise visit by two choirs from Brentwood Primary school, trained and conducted by Music Specialist Anni Crowe.

Junior Pennants

Winter pennants is well underway through the season despite the very average weather over the last few Sundays, and we wish all our 15 junior teams the best of luck for the season. Blue Gum has the prestigious claim of nominating the largest number of junior pennant teams of any club each year in Perth and last summer we nominated 22 junior teams, with 8 teams making finals, resulting in 3 winning teams. It’s a testament to the great club and great people making Blue Gum a club that players want to keep representing year on year. Last year was the first time we nominated a Boys Junior State League team, and they did us very proud finishing top of the ladder and narrowly missed out on the shield falling to Dalkeith in the finals.

UTR software acquisition & link for followers/members

We are excited to announce that Blue Gum (BGPTC) & Tennis Excellence are now officially registered to host UTR events. UTR is a rating system used all over the world. All results in a UTR verified event affect a player’s UTR (rating). Here at BGPTC, we will host various UTR formatted events in the coming months to give our players the opportunity to compete and influence their own personal UTR (rating).

The Board would like to invite you to Blue Gum Park Tennis Club’s annual Life Members and Sponsors’ Day to be held on Saturday, 20th March 2021.

3.00pm                 President to Welcome Sponsors and Life Members (short address)

3.15pm                 Play 2 x 20 minutes sets

4.00pm                 Afternoon Tea for players and Sponsors. Sponsors address members approx.. 3-5min about their business sponsorship.

4.30pm                 Resume Play
