Thanks & Welcome!

Recently, our previous Men’s & Mixed League Co-ordinator, Dannie Francis and Ladies League Co-Ordinator, Diana Brayshaw stepped down.  Thanks to Dannie for his assistance to the league teams and also a huge thanks to Diana who was the Ladies Co-ordinator for nearly 20 years! An amazing dedication to all at Blue Gum.

We very pleased to acknowledge Dawn Goodreid (as the Ladies League Co-Ordinator and court allocator) and John MacDonald, the Men’s & Mixed League Co-ordinator.   The club are very appreciative of the dedication of Dawn and John to our League players.

A huge thanks also to Sarndra Abbott who is still assisting Dawn with the court allocations, yet another large task with weekly changes and juggling.

Behind the scenes, is Ray Stokes who looks after the purchasing and distribution of our tennis balls – thanks Ray!

Saturday Social is organised by Deb Leece and Greg Paull (our Club Captains) and we’ve been lucky during COVID times, to only miss out on a few weeks in Autumn.  Social starts at 3pm during the summer months – playing until at least 6pm and if they’re game, some play until dusk – a brilliant time with hot summer nights upon us.

R.E.M Electrical & Solar new PREMIER SPONSOR of the Club.

REM Electrical & Solar

We are very pleased to confirm that R.E.M Electrical & Solar is now fully established as a PREMIER SPONSOR of the Club.

R.E.M tendered for and won the contract for our recent electrical upgrades and Club President, Colin Lorrimar, was delighted with the way R.E.M approached the job and the quality of their work.

Rhys Mitchell, R.E.M ‘s owner operator, who has more than 12 years experience as a qualified electrical contractor, could see the opportunity for an ongoing mutually beneficial association with the club, and offered to become a sponsor. Several club members have since engaged R.E.M to do work for them and have been very happy with the prompt and courteous service he provided.

So when you need a good, reliable electrician who can satisfy your immediate needs promptly and with a minimum of fuss, give Rhys a call on 0437 182 375.

Check out R.E.M’s web site for more information: https://remelectrical.com.au/
